The Grand Hotel Excelsior in Ischia was born by the renewal of an ancient noble house which still retains the major features. Framed by a lush garden where plants and flowers of the typical Mediterranean and tropical vegetation grow, is distinguished by the elegance and refinement of the environments. FACILITIES: all areas are accessible by wheelchair (except the beach). The hotel offers a Spa and beauty center with the most sophisticated equipment, 2 pools: one of them heated at 28 ° and another one indoor with thermal water (minimum age 12 years) at 35 °. No pool or play area is available for children. Lobby, elegant spacious rooms, reading room, TV room, snack bar on the pool, private beach, garden, restaurant with regional and international specialties. Piano bar every night.
ROOMS: minimum stay: 5 nights during the high season, and 3 nights during the low and media season. All rooms are elegantly furnished and equipped with telephone, air conditioning, satellite TV, mini bar, safe, bathrobe, bathroom amenities Trussardi, balcony or terrace, free Wi Fi.
Standard Double rooms have a surface area ranging between 20 and 22 m² and it is not possible to add a third bed, they are located on the lower floors or in the villa (building in the park of the hotel adjacent to the main one) and they have only a garden view.
Standard Single rooms have a surface area ranging between 17 and 20 m² with French bed and are located on the lower floors, with only garden view feature.
The superior double rooms have a surface area ranging between 25 and 27 m² and you can not add a third bed. They have a view of the garden or sea view (price changes).
The Junior Suites have a surface area ranging between 34 and 38 m², have a closet and it’s always possible to add a third bed. They have a view of the garden or sea view (price changes).
The suites have a surface area ranging between 40 and 42 m², bathroom with whirlpool bath, separate living room from the bedroom except for the two Open Plan Suite on the higher floor and you can always add a third bed. They have a sea view.
The Grand Suite has an area of ​​150 m² with large living room with dining area, small kitchen, 2 bedrooms, one with wardrobe, 1 bathroom with Jacuzzi and separate shower, 1 bathroom with shower, two large terraces with unforgettable views of the Gulf of Naples and the Aragonese Castle equipped with beds, sofas, chairs and dining table. The facilities  include Wi Fi, satellite LCD TV, DVD, home movie, tablet, sound station, mobile phones, air conditioning, safe. It is a kind of accommodation that is reserved only for adult customers, non smoking and no pets (allowed up to 4 kg in the other room types).
The proposed solution for families with two children is two standard connecting rooms otherwise two junior suites with sea view (communicating).
