Pick up from your hotel on the island Ischia or at spcific meeting points around 05.30 a.m. and transfer to port of Ischia; departure by ferry-boat at 6.25 a.m.. Arrival in Naples and continuation by bus through the highway to Pompeii. Here a guided tour of app. 2 and half hours will take you through this unique excavation of the Roman town, which together with Herculaneum was buried by lava during the eruption of the Vesuvius in 79 A.D. After lunch break you will be taken up to Vesuvius, from the foot of which a path leads up to the crater. Time to walk to the top and see the crater. Return to Naples and then to Ischia.
